About Our Client

Our client is a leading public-sector general contractor specializing in healthcare construction across New York. With a strong portfolio of hospital upgrades, clinical fit-outs, and large-scale ground-up developments, they are known for delivering mission-critical projects while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Job Description

    • Manage full project lifecycle including pre-construction, planning, execution, and closeout
    • Oversee both interior renovation and ground-up healthcare construction projects
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
    • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies
    • Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, healthcare regulations, and safety requirements
    • Lead site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication
    • Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and contract administration
    • Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

    • 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a GC in NYC
    • Proven experience delivering healthcare construction projects (public sector preferred)
    • Strong background in both interiors/fit-outs and ground-up construction
    • Deep understanding of NYC construction regulations and healthcare compliance standards
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
