Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of mission critical work throughout the Midwest, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Northwest Indiana.

Job Description

Glimpse of your role:As a Mission Critical Project Manager, you will lead all aspects of project execution for complex data center and critical infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final turnover. You will collaborate closely with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all phases of mission critical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement logs, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate with superintendents to ensure seamless field execution and schedule adherence.
  • Lead owner meetings while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documents.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, commissioning teams, and specialty trade partners.
  • Monitor project financial performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Support commissioning activities and turnover documentation for mission critical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality expectations, and client requirements.



The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and experienced managing fast-paced projects with demanding schedules and sophisticated building systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Previous experience managing mission critical, data center, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, industrial, or other highly technical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of MEP coordination and complex building systems.
  • Experience managing project budgets, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes and critical facility turnover is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally as project needs require.
