The Assistant Project Manager will support the successful delivery of ground-up multifamily projects throughout North Carolina and surrounding markets. This individual will work closely with Operations leadership, field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership groups to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Job Description

  • Assist with project management responsibilities from preconstruction through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Support project scheduling and financial tracking
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
  • Assist with procurement and project buyout activities
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and communication
  • Support delivery of projects on time and within budget

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of construction experience
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience required
  • Experience seeing projects through the full construction lifecycle
  • Familiarity with garden-style, wrap, or podium multifamily projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Stable work history with strong tenure preferred

  • Procore

  • Budgeting and project coordination
