Job Description

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager will:

  • Lead multifamily construction projects through all phases of development
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Administer owner contracts, subcontract agreements, and supplier commitments
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Support value engineering initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Review and approve subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices
  • Prepare financial forecasts and project status reports
  • Monitor project performance to ensure adherence to schedule and budget objectives
  • Partner with field teams to resolve project challenges and maintain progress
  • Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) programs
  • Manage project closeout activities, turnover documentation, and warranty administration

The Successful Applicant

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within the construction industry
  • Experience managing multifamily construction projects valued at $5 million or greater
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, safety practices, and contract administration
  • Experience with project management and construction software platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering multifamily construction projects
