The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all daily site operations for a variety of large-scale Higher Education, K-12, Public/Municipal, and Commercial construction projects to ensure successful and timely completion. Proiject values will typically range from $30M - $200M+

Job Description

  • Maintain oversight of project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
  • Supervise and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and other personnel.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure project goals are met.
  • Communicate project expectations, updates, and changes to all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams
  • Conduct regular meetings to review project progress and address any issues
  • Oversee and enforce quality standards for construction work, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques to ensure the successful execution of the projec

The Successful Applicant

  • +/- 5-12 years of construction industry experience
  • General Contractor background
  • Experience managing large scale, complex new construction projects ranging from $30M - $200M or higher
  • Project types can include Higher Education, K-12, Public/Municipal, Commercial
  • Demonstrated skills in: managing site activity, labor relations, anticipating and resolving project issues, establishing and enforcing site schedule requirements, managing site safety and insurance risks, and subcontractor management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • OHSA 30, CPR, First Aid Certifications
  • Strong tenure at current and previous employers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
