Job Description

The NoVA Superintendent - Ground Up Projects Up to 40M+ will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all on-site construction operations for commercial ground-up projects
  • Managing subcontractors, schedules, safety compliance, and project quality
  • Interpreting construction documents and perform constructability reviews
  • Maintaining daily logs, coordinate materials, and ensure jobsite organization
  • Leading communication between owners, project managers, architects, and subs
  • Driving project timelines and ensure successful delivery from start to finish

The Successful Applicant

The NoVA Superintendent - Ground Up Projects Up to 40M+ should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
  • Proven experience with ground-up projects valued at $12M+ (ideally up to $40M)
  • Background in K-12, municipal, or public-sector construction preferred
  • Ability to independently lead and manage large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and safety standards
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction software tools
  • Open to candidates based in Northern Virginia or Maryland (near VA border)

  • Base salary: $110K - $175K (depending on previous experience)
