Job Description

The Construction Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating field operations across all active projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee multiple project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and field staff
  • Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations
  • Implement and improve construction processes, SOPs, and best practices
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams on project planning and execution strategies
  • Monitor labor productivity, subcontractor performance, and resource allocation
  • Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across all job sites
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Support hiring, mentoring, and development of project and field personnel

  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience working for a general contractor (required)
  • A proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset
