Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paralegals, ensuring high-quality work product and professional growth.
  • Manage and oversee commercial real estate transactions through all phases of the deal life cycle.
  • Prepare and review entity formation, governance, and corporate documentation.
  • Coordinate due diligence, title, survey, and closing processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor transaction timelines, workloads, and project milestones to ensure timely execution.
  • Develop and implement best practices to improve legal operations and team efficiency.
  • Partner closely with legal leadership, business teams, outside counsel, and title companies.
  • Prepare closing binders, signature packets, and post-closing documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Paralegal Manager should have:

  • Prior experience managing, mentoring, and developing paralegals or legal support staff.
  • 7+ years of commercial real estate and/or corporate paralegal experience.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex real estate transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of legal processes, documentation, and due diligence requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and document drafting abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with affordable housing transactions (LIHTC) preferred.
