They deliver complex, high-profile projects across public, institutional, and secure environments while maintaining an award-winning reputation for safety, quality, and long-term client partnerships.Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager - Civil Construction will:Support Project Managers with the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain schedule and budget objectives.Assist with project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and contract administration.Track project costs, procurement activities, and material deliveries.Monitor project schedules and provide updates on milestones, risks, and project performance.Conduct site visits and collaborate with field teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Support client communications and help resolve project challenges in a timely manner.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and project reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure compliance with company standards, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across project teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
