We are seeking a Project Manager to support commercial construction projects in the Charlotte, NC area, with a strong focus on banking projects and select retail work. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects ranging from approximately $500K to $5M while contributing to the growth of a rapidly expanding office.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Project Manager will be:

  • Manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project execution.
  • Lead projects primarily within the banking sector, with some retail projects as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project costs and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Utilise estimating knowledge to assist with project planning and cost management.
  • Support the continued growth and expansion of the Charlotte operation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Experience managing commercial projects is required.
  • Banking project experience is highly preferred.
  • Retail construction project experience will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with estimating or the ability to contribute to estimating processes.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to work from the Charlotte, NC (Concord area) office.
