Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee light industrial and manufacturing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead light industrial and manufacturing projects throughout the Southwest Suburbs and Chicago
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
  • Coordinate project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and design professionals
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contract administration
  • Monitor project financial performance, billing, and forecasting
  • Conduct owner meetings and provide regular project update
  • Support preconstruction efforts, estimating reviews, and project buyout
  • Lead project closeout and warranty activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience managing industrial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
