Our client is an established General Contractor with decades of success delivering commercial construction projects throughout South Carolina. With approximately $120M in annual revenue and more than 15 million square feet constructed, they have built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term client relationships. Their portfolio includes education, healthcare, retail, office, sports & entertainment, and multifamily projects.

Job Description

  • Lead preconstruction efforts for commercial ground-up projects ranging from $5M-$20M+
  • Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and bid proposals
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the preconstruction process
  • Manage value engineering initiatives and cost-saving recommendations
  • Support project handoff and ensure a seamless transition to operations teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of preconstruction, estimating, or related construction experience
  • Experience with ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $5M-$20M+
  • Stable work history with demonstrated tenure and career progression
  • Strong communication, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills
