Preconstruction Manager - Healthcare Construction

• Lead the preconstruction and estimating process for healthcare and technically complex projects from concept through construction start.
• Develop and manage detailed project budgets, cost plans, and GMP estimates, ensuring alignment with client goals and funding requirements.
• Oversee MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage) estimating efforts, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all building systems.
• Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to review drawings, specifications, and design development.
• Lead constructability reviews and identify design, scope, and cost risks early in the process.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor engagement, including bid solicitation, leveling, and scope alignment.
• Drive value engineering and life-cycle cost analysis, particularly critical for healthcare systems and long-term facility performance.
• Prepare and present estimates, cost updates, and strategy recommendations to clients and leadership teams.
• Lead project handoff to operations, ensuring a seamless transition from preconstruction through execution.
