Job Description

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing coordination
  • Manage preconstruction budgets and early-phase planning
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients during design
  • Support value engineering and constructability reviews
  • Assist in subcontractor bidding and scope development
  • Partner with operations teams to transition projects into construction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Preconstruction Project Manager should have:

  • Experience in estimating, preconstruction, or PM with estimating focus
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction costs and planning
  • Experience in design-build or negotiated work environments preferred
  • Ability to manage early-phase project development independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Stable work history with solid tenure preferred
  • Background in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or institutional projects
