Job Description

The Printing Manager will oversee all pressroom operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and compliance within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will lead teams, improve processes, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to deliver consistent, high-quality output.

  • Manage day-to-day pressroom operations to maximise uptime and throughput.
  • Drive workflow efficiency while reducing waste and production downtime.
  • Maintain strict quality standards, including colour accuracy and print consistency.
  • Enforce safety regulations and compliance with GMP and SQF standards.
  • Collaborate with prepress, finishing, and maintenance teams to optimise production.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience in printing or packaging manufacturing, capable of balancing technical expertise with team leadership. They bring a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced production environments.

  • Proven leadership experience within offset, flexographic, or digital printing.
  • Strong understanding of colour management systems (G7/ISO) and prepress workflows.
  • Experience driving performance, accountability, and team development.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and equipment oversight skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems in a production setting.
