The Applications Support Engineer provides technical, application, and service support for process NIR and RF instrumentation. This role works closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure successful implementation, operation, and performance of analytical systems across a variety of industrial environments.

Job Description

  • Provide technical and applications support across North America
  • Support installation, training, and troubleshooting activities
  • Manage customer issues through CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Deliver on-site and remote support to customers and partners
  • Communicate field feedback to internal teams
  • Support trade shows and customer demonstrations
  • Maintain deep knowledge of product lines and applications
  • Develop and update technical documentation and procedures
  • Recommend product and process improvements
  • Train customers, distributors, and internal teams
  • Track travel schedules, reports, and expenses
  • Travel up to 40% for customer support and site visits

The Successful Applicant

A successful Process Applications Engineer should have:

  • BS in Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
  • Experience with process analytical instrumentation
  • Knowledge of NIR or RF technologies preferred
  • Experience integrating instruments with PLCs and systems
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
