Job Description

  • Design, implement, and optimize control systems to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Lead engineering projects including automation upgrades, system integrations, and equipment enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across production equipment.
  • Develop and maintain PLC/HMI programs and support system upgrades.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to validate new equipment and processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation such as validation protocols, engineering studies, and system specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, cost savings, and efficiency gains.
  • Implement data monitoring and process control solutions to improve reliability and prevent errors.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-5+ years of experience in process or controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley) and HMI systems.
  • Knowledge of sensors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience with automation technologies, data systems, and network communications.
  • Proficiency with CAD and standard enterprise software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
