Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized manufacturing processes, introducing controlled improvements as needed.
  • Review production documentation and work instructions to ensure requirements are accurate, complete, and clearly communicated.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and determine manufacturing feasibility based on operational capabilities.
  • Provide technical support to customers, production teams, quality teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Review customer and industry specifications to ensure compliance with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
  • Investigate non-conforming products, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support production teams in meeting customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development, review, and continuous improvement of manufacturing procedures and process documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Investigate customer concerns and support root-cause analysis and resolution efforts.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams and external suppliers to support material and process requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain critical process controls and equipment standards.
  • Support capital improvement projects aimed at increasing operational capabilities and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize equipment utilization and manufacturing throughput.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and or 5+ years of Relevant experience in Metals
  • Manufacturing process engineering experience within metals, heat treating, welding, laser cutting, stamping, and or forging.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and improving standard manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Proven experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and non-conformance investigations.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, customer specifications, and industry standards.
  • Experience supporting production teams and troubleshooting manufacturing issues on the shop floor.
  • Strong continuous improvement background utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, or other process improvement methodologies.
