The organization invests in modern engineering tools, rigorous testing capabilities, and professional development, creating an environment where engineers can grow their expertise and make a meaningful impact.Job DescriptionDesign and develop hydraulic and pneumatic components, including hose assemblies, fittings, and coupling systemsCreate detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials using CAD toolsDefine product requirements including pressure, temperature, and environmental performance criteriaDevelop manufacturing processes, including crimping and swaging parameters and tooling designLead product development from concept through validation, testing, and production launchConduct engineering analysis including material selection, tolerance studies, and stress/thermal evaluationPlan and oversee validation testing such as pressure, burst, leak, and cyclic performance testingAnalyze test data and implement design improvements to enhance product performanceTroubleshoot manufacturing and assembly challenges, providing hands-on technical supportDevelop work instructions, training materials, and support knowledge transfer to production teamsCollaborate cross-functionally with quality, operations, procurement, and customer-facing teamsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and standardize processes across product linesParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities to resolve product issuesEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirementsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
