Job Description

Location: Jefferson City, MO

Duration: 12-Month Contract with Anticipated 12-Month Extension

Work Schedule: Onsite Every Other Week (Monday-Thursday)

Serve as the Oracle Fusion Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the program.
Assess implementation quality, project progress, and overall solution effectiveness.
Advise leadership on Oracle Fusion strategy, program execution, and potential risks.
Evaluate functional and technical design decisions to ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices.
Collaborate with State leadership, teams, and implementation partners.
Review solution architecture, integrations, configurations, and deployment approaches.
Provide recommendations to improve project outcomes, governance, and adoption.
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Support executive decision-making through clear communication and strategic guidance.

The Successful Applicant

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting State or Local Government ERP initiatives.
Background in Oracle Fusion solution architecture or enterprise transformation programs.
Experience overseeing third-party system integrators and implementation partners.
Knowledge of ERP governance, risk management, and organizational change management.
Familiarity with large-scale public sector technology modernization projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is not expected to be a hands-on Oracle developer but should possess enough technical and functional expertise to confidently evaluate whether the Oracle Fusion implementation is being executed properly and aligned with organizational objectives.
