Job Description

  • Own full P&L responsibility for a ~$25M capacitor product line serving aerospace, defense, space, and industrial markets
  • Drive revenue growth while managing cost structures, margins, and overall product line performance
  • Oversee key operational metrics including Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost (QDIC) within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Lead product line strategy including pricing, bid support, and customer engagement in partnership with sales and engineering teams
  • Manage and develop a cross-functional team, including direct reports within manufacturing and product management
  • Support material sourcing strategies, cost optimization, and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Participate in customer interactions, audits, and technical discussions to ensure alignment on product performance and delivery expectations
  • Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning as part of the site leadership team
  • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across sales, engineering, and operations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Product Line Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progression across product, operations, or business leadership roles
  • Proven experience owning or influencing P&L performance within a product line or business unit
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments (AS9100 / aerospace / defense preferred)
  • Background in passive components, capacitors, or related electronic components highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success driving both revenue growth and cost optimization initiatives
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Engineering degree (or equivalent technical background) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production management tools
