Job Description

  • Create and implement production plans that align with customer demand, inventory levels, and delivery timelines
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production teams to drive engagement, accountability, and strong performance
  • Monitor product quality and establish controls to reduce defects, rework, and production errors
  • Allocate workforce, equipment, and materials effectively to meet operational goals while managing costs
  • Identify and execute process improvements to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and enhance output
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and addressing incidents promptly
  • Oversee inventory practices to balance availability with cost efficiency and optimize turnover
  • Track and analyze production performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve results

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven leader with several years of experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control processes, and operational best practices
  • Effective at coaching and developing teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement
  • Skilled in lean manufacturing principles, with a track record of driving efficiency and reducing waste
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communicator and organizer, capable of coordinating across teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance
