Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to the production schedule. This role is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; coordinating with internal departments to track progress and resolve issues; and compiling reports related to production status, inventory, costs, and on-time delivery performance.Job DescriptionReview production schedules, work orders, and staffing requirements to determine material and labor prioritiesCoordinate with department supervisors and cross-functional teams to assess work progress and completion timelinesMonitor work processes and materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to specificationsRevise production schedules as needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other disruptionsCoordinate production and shipping activities with internal teams, vendors, and customers to prevent delaysTrack and record production data including output, material usage, and quality metricsMaintain and requisition inventory levels required to meet production demandsLoad and maintain system data to support fabrication scheduling (BOMs, item master data, capacity planning, etc.)Utilize an MRP/ERP system to manage and maintain production and inventory dataCompile production, inventory, and customer information for status reportingCalculate labor requirements, material needs, and manufacturing-related costsDistribute production schedules and work orders to appropriate departmentsIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and safetyGuide and support entry-level employees as neededPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assignedMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
