This role will serve as a key manufacturing leader at the new location in the western suburbs, providing hands-on coaching and leadership to employees while driving and implementing Lean and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.

Job Description

  • Supervise all production activities and ensure optimal productivity.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to achieve operational objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement improvements to production processes.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and organize necessary repairs.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with management.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years' experience overseeing production teams of 40+.
  • A candidate who is bilingual in English/Spanish is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Track record leading projects to improve production efficiency and reduce waste & costs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and equipment.
  • Background in assembly environments strongly preferred.
