Job Description

  • Provide operational support to the project team members.
  • Facilitate the flow of information both internally and externally as directed.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Responsible for coordination of assigned projects and department initiatives including tracking and follow-up for submittals, contracts, change orders and close out documents.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as project plans, trackers, risk logs, and change requests.
  • Awareness of opportunities for improvement in efficiency is welcomed.
  • Various administrative support as needed and aligned with department goals and objectives,
  • Attend meetings, training and communicate follow-up items as requested and needed.

  • May be required to visit the job site as requested by the Project Managers.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction (Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or similar role)
  • Experience working for a general contractor strongly preferred
  • Exposure to commercial, multifamily, or renovation projects
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, plans/specs)
  • Ability to assist with project scheduling and coordination across multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with construction/project management software (e.g., Procore or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field teams, subcontractors, and project managers
  • Construction-related degree (Construction Management, Engineering, or similar) preferred but not essential if experience is strong
