Job Description

  • Support project teams with project administration and coordination activities
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation, reports, contracts, and records
  • Coordinate communication between project stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Learn the financial, contractual, and operational components of construction project management
  • Help track project schedules, budgets, and project deliverables
  • Review and manage construction documentation to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support to ensure successful project execution
  • Contribute to both ground-up and renovation projects across multiple asset classes
  • Develop a thorough understanding of construction processes and best practices
  • Grow into increasing levels of project management responsibility over time

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Construction industry experience or construction-related education is highly preferred
  • Understanding of construction documents, drawings, and project documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Coachable with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop a career in construction management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Local to the Charlotte area or willing to relocate
