Job Description

As a Building and Construction Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Support Project Managers throughout all phases of project execution
  • Coordinate project documentation, contracts, and correspondence
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs
  • Assist with scheduling, procurement, and material tracking
  • Maintain accurate project records and reporting systems
  • Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Assist with budget tracking and project cost reporting
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and project updates
  • Support project closeout activities and final documentation
  • Help ensure projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Building and Construction Project Coordinator candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or project support
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of construction documents, contracts, and project processes preferred
  • Experience with project management or construction software is a plus
  • A collaborative attitude and desire to grow within the construction industry
