Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project operations
  • Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages
  • Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure project compliance
  • Track procurement and material deliveries
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate records
  • Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

A successful Project Engineer - Civil Construction should have:

  • Experience with civil construction projects and processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of construction experience, internships included
  • Experience with a heavy civil, sitework, utility, environmental, or self-perform contractor preferred
  • Familiarity with union construction environments is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
