Job Description

The Project Engineer - Commercial Construction - Staunton, VA will:

  • Assist project managers and superintendents with day-to-day project coordination
  • Support preconstruction efforts including estimating, scheduling, and procurement
  • Track project progress, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project timelines
  • Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting for stakeholders
  • Help ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols

The Successful Applicant

The Project Engineer - Commercial Construction - Staunton, VA will receive:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction (open to strong candidates with less than one year of experience)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with construction software/tools is a plus
