The company fosters a culture that rewards initiative, values innovation, and empowers employees to take ownership of their growth and success.If you're an ambitious construction professional looking to build your future with a market-leading contractor that offers exceptional career advancement, cutting-edge projects, and long-term stability, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.Apply today for confidential consideration and a response within 24 hours.Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer will be responsible for: Manage day-to-day construction field activities to ensure that project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are met.Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids.Lead team with construction project planning and developing site logistics.Monitor job subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines are met.Utilize good time management to ensure timely completion of projects.Keep construction daily and weekly work logs.Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.Work directly with job investors at times and maintain a professional and client facing attitude.Ensure proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and safety requirements are met.Review bids for work, as well as supervising the inspection of work.Schedule on-site inspections as needed along the jobs site.Maintain as strong a relationship as possible with local municipalities for potential future business.Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with project coordination from preconstruction through closeout.Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch list items.Prepare meeting minutes and distribute project updates to internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate material procurement and monitor lead times to support project schedules.Review and process shop drawings for compliance with project specifications.Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting efforts.Assist in maintaining project schedules and identifying potential schedule impacts.Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design and construction issues.Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project leadership.Perform site walks and quality control inspections to ensure work conforms to plans and specifications.Assist in managing project closeout documentation, warranties, and turnover packages.Support the implementation and enforcement of company safety standards and OSHA requirements.Track and organize project documentation using Procore and other construction management software.Participate in owner meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and internal project reviews.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
