Job Description

Reporting to a Project Manager, the Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting project execution from preconstruction through completion.

  • Review construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and maintain submittal logs and project documentation
  • Coordinate and distribute approved submittals to project stakeholders
  • Assist with Requests for Information, change orders, and project correspondence
  • Support project reporting, tracking, and document control processes
  • Assist with project scheduling and schedule updates
  • Coordinate communication between field operations and office-based project teams

The Successful Applicant

For the Project Engineer we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Approximately 2+ years of construction experience in a supervisory, field, or project engineering capacity
  • Experience supporting commercial, healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, manufacturing, or similar construction projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 or comparable scheduling software
  • Experience with Prolog Manager or similar construction management platforms preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A proactive, professional, and coachable approach
  • Desire to build a long-term career within a growing construction organization
  • Ability to work effectively across both field and office environments
