Job Description

The Project Engineer - Ground-Up will:

  • Support Project Managers on multiple active construction projects.
  • Assist with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, and subcontractor communication.
  • Track project progress and help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with field and office teams throughout all phases of construction.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of project types, including commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, and industrial work.
  • Participate in a hands-on development program designed to provide experience across different project functions.
  • Work closely with experienced construction professionals in a team-oriented environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Engineer - Ground-Up should have:

  • 0-4 years of construction experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Open to candidates with diverse project backgrounds.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in construction management.
  • Ability to commute to the South Burlington, VT area.
  • Interest in working both in the office and on active job sites.

What's on Offer

Upon offer, the Project Engineer - Ground-Up will receive:

  • Base salary: $60,000 - $90,000
