About Our Client

Our client is a top general contractor located in downtown Indianapolis, their primary project focus is on healthcare, light industrial and tenant interior construction projects. Due to a strong pipeline, they are immediately looking to add on an experienced and driven project engineer to help lead multiple projects across the Indianapolis area with the project management staff.

Job Description

Project scope of work development alongside the PM staff
Project planning and implementation of activities
Document management and logging including safety documentation, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, close out documents, and OAC meeting minutes
Subcontractor and superintendent coordination
Travel to job sites as required by PM and/or superintendents

The Successful Applicant

1-2 years of experience working in the construction industry
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, civil engineering or a related field
Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
Assist the Project Manager with change orders, subcontractor scheduling and invoicing, reviewing monthly job costs
Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists
