We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of large-scale, ground-up multifamily construction projects in the Louisville, Kentucky market. Job Description

  • Support project managers and superintendents throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale multifamily construction projects.
  • Manage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
  • Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Monitor project schedules and help ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Assist with procurement activities and material tracking.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting documentation.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications to support project execution.
  • Track project progress and help identify potential schedule or budget challenges.
  • Support quality control and jobsite safety initiatives.
  • Assist with project closeout activities, punch list management, and final documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project reports and construction records.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction, multifamily construction, or a related industry.
  • Exposure to ground-up construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
