Job Description

  • The Project Engineer will assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of commercial construction projects.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Track project schedules and assist with project reporting.
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Support procurement and material tracking efforts.
  • Assist in resolving field and design-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Support project closeout activities and turnover packages.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience on commercial projects is preferred.
  • The Project Engineer must show strong understanding of construction documents and project processes.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
