Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and project execution.
  • Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Maintain project records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Support procurement activities, including material tracking and subcontractor coordination.
  • Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Assist with project cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Support closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built drawings, warranties, and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of construction management, project engineering, or related construction experience.
  • Experience working for a general contractor preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a project management career path.
