Job Description

  • Provide strategic oversight across multiple commercial interior construction projects
  • Lead project teams through planning, execution, and successful delivery
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, quality, and overall project performance
  • Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues
  • Review financials, forecasts, and ensure strong project profitability
  • Serve as a key escalation point for complex project and client challenges
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Drive business development efforts and help secure new opportunities
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, APMs, and field leadership teams
  • Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture across project teams
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and long-term team development strategies
  • Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and consistency
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and organizational growth
  • Ensure safety compliance and uphold high standards across all projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience with a general contractor in commercial construction
  • Strong background in interior fit-outs, renovations, and tenant improvements
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams or large project portfolios
  • Deep knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contracts
  • Demonstrated success in client management and business development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in construction management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or similar (preferred)
  • Experience within a major metro interiors market is a plus
  • Industry certifications such as LEED are highly desirable
