Job Description

As a Project Executive - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing executive oversight for multiple luxury residential renovation projects
  • Leading and mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents
  • Managing client relationships and serving as the primary executive point of contact
  • Overseeing project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Reviewing schedules, staffing plans, and operational strategies
  • Supporting preconstruction planning, procurement, and project buyouts
  • Driving quality control and ensuring adherence to luxury residential standards
  • Managing project risk and implementing proactive mitigation strategies
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, consultants, and ownership teams
  • Supporting business development efforts and repeat-client relationships
  • Ensuring successful execution of custom millwork, specialty finishes, and complex architectural details
  • Monitoring project performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of construction management experience
  • 5+ years in a Senior Project Manager, Director, or Project Executive role
  • Extensive experience managing high-end residential interior renovation projects
  • Proven experience with brownstones, penthouses, duplexes, townhouses, or luxury apartment renovations
  • Strong understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metal, and specialty finishes
  • Experience managing high-net-worth clients, architects, and interior designers
  • Exceptional budgeting, forecasting, and financial management skills
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor project teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and related construction technologies
