Job Description

The Project Executive - Ground-Up Commercial - Bethesda, MD will be responsible for:

  • Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction planning through project completion.
  • Oversee higher education and commercial projects ranging from $30M to $200M+.
  • Manage project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project financial performance, profitability, and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Utilize tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office 365, Primavera Scheduling, and BIM technologies to drive project success.
  • Serve as a key leader and mentor, helping develop and strengthen project teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Executive - Ground-Up Commercial - Bethesda, MD should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-12+ years of construction project management experience with a General Contractor.
  • Proven experience managing higher education construction projects from start to finish.
  • Track record successfully delivering projects valued at $30M+.
  • Strong leadership experience managing project teams and client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive client satisfaction while maintaining project profitability.
  • Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office 365, Primavera Scheduling, and BIM.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Senior Project Managers with large project experience are encouraged to apply.
