Job Description

As Project Executive, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide executive-level oversight of multiple high-end residential construction projects.
  • Lead Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
  • Establish project strategy, schedule, budget, staffing, and execution plans.
  • Maintain senior-level relationships with owners, architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Review project financials, schedules, procurement, change orders, and overall performance.
  • Identify and resolve high-level project risks before they impact cost or schedule.
  • Ensure projects maintain the company's standards for quality, craftsmanship, safety, and client service.
  • Participate in preconstruction, estimating, contract negotiations, and project turnover.
  • Mentor and develop project management and field staff.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex project and client issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Executive should have:

  • 10+ years of construction experience, preferably with a leading NYC high-end interior general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing high-end residential interior gut renovations.
  • Strong background with Manhattan townhomes, brownstones, penthouses, luxury apartments, or comparable projects.
  • Previous experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Director, Vice President, or similar senior leadership position.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and project teams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project financials.
  • Excellent communication and client-management skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
