Job Description

  • Lead all phases of a ground-up multifamily construction project from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Drive project quality, safety, and compliance standards across all phases of construction.
  • Monitor project financials and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and delays.
  • Collaborate directly with executive leadership to provide project updates and strategic guidance.
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure project goals are achieved while delivering exceptional results for ownership and end users.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale apartment developments.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and construction operations.
  • Ability to work independently and step into an established project with minimal ramp-up time.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact directly with senior leadership.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing projects with 300+ residential units.
  • Familiarity with the Charlotte or broader North Carolina construction market.
  • Experience working within entrepreneurial or growth-oriented construction organizations.
