Job Description

The Project Manager - Class A Corporate Interiors - DC/NoVA will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of high-end corporate interior and tenant fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Overseeing project budgets, schedules, and contracts to ensure delivery within scope and financial targets
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive execution and resolve issues
  • Leading project meetings and providing regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with design intent and quality standards
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, buyout, and ongoing performance
  • Tracking and processing change orders, RFIs, and all project documentation
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards across all phases
  • Monitoring progress and proactively addressing scheduling conflicts, cost overruns, and field issues
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff such as Project Engineers and APMs
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - Class A Corporate Interiors - DC/NoVA will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on corporate interiors / tenant fit-out projects
  • Proven experience managing Class A office, high-end commercial interiors, or fast-paced renovation work
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various phases of construction
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and contract administration
  • Experience leading client-facing meetings and maintaining relationships with owners, architects, and consultants
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience mentoring junior staff such as Project Engineers or APMs is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
