Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring successful execution at every stage
  • Oversee project budgets, subcontractor buyout, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to meet key milestones
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project reporting
  • Collaborate closely with field leadership to support jobsite safety, quality, logistics, and overall project execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants by leading OAC meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Lead project closeout activities, including punch list management, commissioning coordination, and turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds, renovations, occupied facilities, or campus environments
  • Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and contract administration
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Experience coordinating complex project scopes, including MEP/FP systems and phased construction
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar industry platforms
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
