Job Description

Reporting directly to the Building Division Leader, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, financial management, scheduling expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from preconstruction, procurement, and execution through project closeout
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Create and manage project schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocation
  • Lead client communications and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field leadership, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule
  • Support business growth through exceptional project execution and client service

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager Building should have:

  • 7-15+ years of progressive construction management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent field experience will also be considered
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $5M+
  • Strong background delivering Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and project financial management
  • Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and general building systems
  • Ability to travel throughout Massachusetts and the greater New England region
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
