About Our Client

Our client is a privately owned, regionally established general contractor delivering $5M-$20M ground‑up projects across public and private sectors. They are known for strong leadership visibility, internal promotion, and a hands‑on, high‑accountability culture.

Job Description

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of ground‑up construction projects from preconstruction through close‑out, reporting directly to senior operational leadership. You will play a critical role in driving quality, schedule, safety, and financial performance.

  • Lead the full project lifecycle on $5M-$20M ground‑up construction projects
  • Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams
  • Oversee procurement, buy‑out, and contract administration
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while driving solutions on site
  • Mentor field teams and support a collaborative, high‑performance culture

The Successful Applicant

For the Project Manager we are seeking:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering ground‑up construction projects
  • Background in municipal, hospitality, light industrial, healthcare, higher education, or federal work preferred
  • Experience managing projects in the $5M-$20M range
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills
  • A proactive, accountable mindset with a desire to grow long‑term
