We are seeking a Project Manager to join a well-established real estate development and construction company based in Sarasota, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of ground-up and renovation projects while working directly for an organization that develops, owns, and builds its own projects.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Review estimates, budgets, schedules, and project costs to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and ownership teams
  • Lead project planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting
  • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-10 years of project management experience within the general contracting industry
  • Ground-up commercial construction experience is required
  • Experience delivering retail, warehouse, shopping center, dealership, or similar commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of construction costs, estimating, budgeting, and project financials
  • Professional and polished communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders
  • Florida construction experience is preferred, though relocation candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
