This role serves as the primary liaison between owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal project teams while driving project performance and client satisfaction.

Job Description

The Project Manager will:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Owners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Drive project planning efforts from preconstruction through turnover.
  • Establish project objectives, milestones, and execution strategies.
  • Lead contract administration, RFI management, submittal reviews, and change order negotiations.
  • Track project financial performance and maintain budget accountability.
  • Prepare monthly cost analyses, forecasting reports, and financial updates.
  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals and support procurement decisions.
  • Guide schedule development and monitor project progress against key milestones.
  • Conduct regular owner meetings and communicate project status effectively.
  • Partner with field leadership to resolve project challenges and maintain production goals.
  • Coordinate permit requirements, inspections, and municipal approvals.
  • Manage risk by identifying issues early and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Approve subcontractor payment applications and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, documentation, final inspections, and owner turnover.
  • Leverage Procore, Microsoft Project, and other technology tools to streamline project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 5-10 years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, trades, and CSI divisions.
  • Experience managing project budgets, scheduling, cost reporting, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to lead client communications and stakeholder meetings.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and related construction technologies.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and professional leadership.
