Our client is a respected Arlington-based general contractor specializing in sophisticated corporate interiors, complex renovations, and secure facility construction throughout the DC metro area. Their reputation has been built on repeat business, accountability, and consistently delivering challenging projects on schedule without sacrificing quality.

Job Description

  • Manage all phases of commercial interior construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Ensure proper documentation and close-out of projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with all project participants.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Commercial Interiors should have:

  • 5-7+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing high-end commercial interior renovations and corporate buildouts.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and project financial management.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $1M-$15M+, with larger project exposure preferred.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as corporate office, law firms, financial institutions, healthcare, government, technology, or professional services.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
