Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial interiors projects throughout Brooklyn and the wider New York City market. Our client is a well-established Commercial Interiors General Contractor with a strong presence across Brooklyn and New York City. Known for delivering high-quality workplace fit-outs, corporate interiors, retail spaces, hospitality renovations, and tenant improvement projects, they have built lasting relationships with clients through exceptional project execution, collaborative delivery, and a commitment to quality.

Job Description

    • Manage multiple commercial interiors projects from award through completion.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
    • Lead client meetings and provide regular project updates.
    • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
    • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
    • Work closely with Superintendents to manage field operations and construction activities.
    • Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for value engineering.
    • Maintain quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Support project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Commercial Interiors should have:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
    • Proven experience managing commercial interiors, tenant fit-outs, or renovation projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls.
    • Experience working on projects throughout Brooklyn and the New York City market.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is advantageous.
