Job Description

The responsibility of a Project Manager:

  • Assist in managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Support budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage project costs, help negotiate change orders, and track financial performance
  • Participate in subcontractor meetings and maintain project communication across all stakeholders
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify potential risks or delays
  • Utilize project management technology and construction software platforms to improve efficiency
  • Support quality control and ensure projects are completed to company standards
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports, contracts, and documentation
  • Take ownership of project responsibilities and contribute to successful project outcomes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 5 years of commercial construction experience preferred
  • Experience working for a general contractor is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent construction field experience will be considered
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience with Google Workspace preferred
  • Exposure to Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software is a plus
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative
  • Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and desire to grow into greater project leadership responsibilities
